The Merrion Hotel will host a champagne afternoon tea featuring live opera performances on Friday, 18 September, as part of its ongoing partnership with Wexford Festival Opera.

The event, titled High Tea and High Notes, will run from 4pm to 6pm in the hotel’s Garden Room restaurant and costs €85 per person. Attendees will receive a champagne reception on arrival, followed by afternoon tea accompanied by performances from Wexford Festival Opera artists, who will perform a mix of Irish songs and opera repertoire.

The date falls the day before Dublin’s Culture Night events on 19 September. It also comes ahead of Wexford Festival Opera’s 75th anniversary season, which runs from 15 to 31 October at the National Opera House in Wexford.
