The Four Seasons Resort at Jumeirah Beach is a luxury 5-star hotel located in the prestigious coastal area of Jumeirah in Dubai. It is the closest beachfront hotel to downtown Dubai, offering easy access to the Dubai Mall and the iconic Burj Khalifa. It is situated just 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport (DXB).
Since its opening in November 2014, the resort has been recognised for combining luxury accommodations with the personalised service typical of Four Seasons.
Recent accolades include the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards.
Upon arrival, the doormen greeted us warmly, took our bags, and guided us to reception. Despite arriving earlier than the standard check-in time, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our room was already ready.
Check-in was quick and efficient. We were offered a refreshing lemon drink during the process. The friendly, genuine attitude of the staff was immediately noticeable.
On the way to our room, we were given a brief tour of the hotel. Set on 14 acres, the resort features a low-rise design with a distinct Spanish-Mediterranean architectural style accented by Arabic influences.
The resort offers 237 accommodations, including 188 spacious guest rooms and 49 suites. Interiors are modern and airy, with luxurious details and views of either the Arabian Gulf or the Dubai skyline.
The corridors are clean and spacious, finished in neutral tones and softly lit. Plush, green-patterned carpets and minimal décor create a calm and welcoming atmosphere. A light, refreshing scent subtly lingers in the air.
Our Deluxe Resort View room was well-appointed and thoughtfully designed, equipped with modern conveniences. From the elegant furnishings to the comfortable bed – complete with the Four Seasons emblem subtly embroidered on the pillows – every detail reflected understated luxury.
The generously sized bathroom featured marble and dark wood finishes, a standalone bathtub, a rainfall shower, and double sinks.
The room offered thoughtful touches throughout, including luxurious Diptyque toiletries, soft waffle bathrobes, and slippers embroidered with the Four Seasons logo. Modern technology was intuitively integrated, with a bedside switch to open the curtains and a tablet that provided easy access to all resort information.
A Smeg kettle and Lavazza coffee machine were provided in the room, with fresh milk conveniently stored in the fridge. The minibar was well stocked with a wide selection of snacks and beverages, including premium spirits, soft drinks, and gourmet treats.
Practical extras like a dental kit and garment steamer were provided. A premium beach bag hung in the wardrobe, accompanied by a note explaining it was for use during our stay but could be purchased from the boutique.
The pillow menu was a considerate detail – something I truly value in a luxury hotel.

The turndown service was excellent, with small touches such as bookmarks placed in books and cloths provided for sunglasses.
The welcome amenity was one of the most unique and personal I’ve ever received: a vintage typewriter, a scroll, a pen with a notebook, and five homemade chocolates. This was accompanied by a Four Seasons-branded box of dates and a bowl of fresh fruit. This attention to detail highlighted how carefully every aspect was considered.
The rooms are designed with an outer door that leads to a small private foyer, from which two separate rooms can be accessed. The outer door can be closed to create a private, interconnecting setup between the two rooms.
Our room was quite a distance from the lift, so if you have mobility concerns, I recommend requesting a room closer to the elevators.
The dining options at the Four Seasons are both impressive and diverse. On-site venues include Sea Fu, known for its fresh Asian seafood; the relaxed Sea Fu Bar; Shai Salon & Terrace, ideal for afternoon tea; Hendricks Bar, offering a refined setting for classic and creative cocktails; Mercury Rooftop, a rooftop lounge serving shareable seasonal dishes like crudo, sushi, saffron lobster risotto, and cocktails; and Jou Jou Brasserie, which serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine.
Just across from the resort’s main entrance, a collection of independent dining venues known as the ‘Restaurant Village’ is housed in a distinctively curved building. This culinary hub offers a diverse range of international cuisines: bold Peruvian flavours at Coya, Far Eastern dishes with a Western twist at Mimi Kakushi, authentic Greek fare at Nammos, contemporary Turkish meats at Nusr-Et, classic Italian dining at Scalini, and Parisian cuisine at Verde.
Breakfast is served daily at Jou Jou Brasserie from 7AM to 11AM. The restaurant has a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, blending contemporary design with subtle Mediterranean influences. The space is bright and airy, filled with natural light and an elegant mix of warm tones and modern furnishings. The mood is unhurried and welcoming – ideal for a leisurely breakfast.
The buffet is extensive, offering a wide variety of breads and pastries, with a dedicated pastry chef on hand. Service was excellent, starting with the prompt delivery of water infused with fresh lemon slices. There were also booster juice shots and lighter options like honey yoghurt fruit chia pudding and assorted fruit bowls.
The savoury spread featured cheeses, smoked salmon, trout caviar, cured meats, dim sum, gyoza, and hash browns.
The à la carte menu included eggs cooked to order, along with crepes, pancakes, waffles, and French toast. The avocado toast with poached egg was beautifully presented and perfectly prepared.

We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at Jou Jou Brasserie during one evening of our stay. The meal began with an amuse-bouche of rosemary focaccia, Italian lingua bread, and papa pomodorina sauce, served alongside olive oil from northern Spain.
Our starters – the beef carpaccio with crispy buckwheat and truffle dressing, and a creamy burrata with datterino tomatoes and cashew nuts – were both superb. For the main course, the seafood linguine (linguine allo scoglio) was flavourful and well-balanced, while the Black Angus beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and elevated by smoked rosemary oil and a rich beef jus.
Dessert was equally memorable: a traditional tiramisù that was beautifully presented and layered with deep, velvety flavours.
Service throughout was attentive, with staff offering recommendations.

A visit from the chef at the end of the meal was a lovely personal touch. The only downside was the quiet atmosphere – likely due to a brunch held earlier that day – but the overall experience was excellent.
Dinner is served daily from 5.30PM to 11PM, and lunch is available from 12.30PM to 5.30PM. Brunch is a popular option on Saturdays, served from 1PM to 4PM.

Sea Fu offers a sophisticated dining experience focused on fresh, high-quality seafood and Asian-inspired flavours. Set in a stylish, airy space with an open kitchen, it’s ideal for a relaxed yet elegant meal by the water.
We had another great dinner there one evening. Both an à la carte menu and a tasting menu are available, with the tasting menu priced at AED 650 (€150) per person, and an optional wine pairing for an additional AED 550 (€127) per person.
Our meal began with an amuse-bouche of salted edamame beans. We chose from the à la carte menu, starting with prawn tempura and a mixed selection of dim sum, including truffle edamame and A5 Wagyu beef. For the main course, we enjoyed Pad Thai noodles and Singapore noodles.

The cuisine showcased vibrant flavours and culinary finesse, while the attentive service made the entire dining experience smooth and enjoyable.
Sea Fu Bar offers a daily Happy Hour (4PM to 7PM), with a selection of cocktails, wines, and beers available for 45 QR, alongside a tempting snacks menu.
The atmosphere, whether indoors or outdoors, was serene.

Afternoon Tea is served daily in Shai Salon from 3PM to 7PM, reimagined as a five-course experience rather than the classic tiered presentation.
This limited-edition afternoon tea draws inspiration from Chef Nicolas Lambert’s French heritage and his decade-long culinary journey across Hong Kong, St. Petersburg, and Dubai.
The experience began with a refreshing Hojicha Sparkling Tea. The savoury course featured delicate bites such as Free-Range Egg and Black Truffle, and a Sous-Vide Organic Chicken Breast and Artichoke Tartlet.
A palate cleanser followed – the Fra-Sia ‘Vacherin’ pre-dessert – a light and zesty combination of strawberry, basil, and yuzu.
The fourth course of sweets was both visually stunning and delicious, with highlights including the rich Chocolates ‘Caprice’ and the Honey ‘Bee,’ made with Hatta honey and fresh apricot compote.
It concluded with a warm Le Clafoutis de Jeannot, served with Tahitian Vanilla Crème Fraîche.
Service throughout was excellent, with the staff providing thoughtful explanations of each course and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Afternoon Tea is priced at 260 AED (€60) per person.

The hotel features three pools: a main pool, a dedicated adults-only pool, and an indoor pool located within the spa.
Both outdoor pools offer a mix of shaded and sunlit areas, with private cabanas available for added comfort. Attentive poolside attendants were quick to assist with towels, refreshments, and any requests, enhancing the experience with complimentary refreshing shots of raspberry kombucha served throughout the day.
The indoor pool, set beneath a domed glass ceiling, is bathed in natural light. It’s perfect for swimming lengths or enjoying a quiet, climate-controlled space away from the heat.

The Pearl Spa is an award-winning, luxurious facility featuring 10 treatment rooms, including an elegant Couple’s Spa Suite. Treatments incorporate premium product lines such as Sodashi, Dr. Burgener Switzerland, Knesko, and Biologique Recherche.
Guests can unwind with deluxe aqua thermal experiences and enjoy the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Separate changing and relaxation areas are provided for men and women.

The spa felt like a sanctuary of tranquillity. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a cold towel infused with their signature Frangipani fragrance and a shot of Aloe Vera juice with passion fruit pearls. Lockers, robes, towels and slippers were provided. The waiting area offered a selection of ginger tea, dates, nuts, apples, and water.
We enjoyed the ‘Pearl bespoke massage’ in the couple’s suite – a deeply relaxing experience. After the treatment, we were led to separate relaxation lounges and served black tea alongside a coconut date ball.

The changing rooms are fully equipped, featuring a vanity area stocked with high-end amenities such as a GHD hairdryer and straightener, makeup remover, hairspray, and deodorant.
Spa treatments are available daily from 10AM to 10PM.
La Sirene Coiffure, located beside the spa, is a full-service salon offering a range of beauty and hair treatments, with a dedicated lounge exclusively for men’s grooming services.

The Fitness Centre is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and is open 24 hours a day. A staff attendant is available from 7AM to 10PM.
The resort offers a variety of recreational facilities, including a 270-metre beach where guests can enjoy complimentary use of kayaks, dinghies, catamarans, and paddleboards.
Tennis and padel courts are available for rent starting at €70, including racquet and ball rental. Private lessons are also available.

Children are well catered for with complimentary access to the Kids For All Seasons Centre. This supervised programme is designed to both educate and entertain children aged 4 to 12. It runs daily from 10AM to 10PM, with a break between 1PM and 2PM.
Babysitting services are also available upon request.
Families can expect excellent amenities for children, including welcome toys, child-size bathrobes, toiletries and baby care items such as cribs, buggies, diapers, and bathtubs, along with complimentary access to games, books, toys, and video games.

Another appreciated feature was the concierge service via WhatsApp, offering quick, convenient, and personal assistance whenever needed. The service was impressively efficient.
Every staff member we encountered across the resort, no matter where we were, greeted us with a warm smile. The service felt consistently genuine and sincere. True to their promise of ‘We can arrange virtually anything’, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate even the smallest requests.
The Four Seasons at Jumeirah Beach delivers a perfect blend of opulence, excellent culinary experiences, and warm, personalised service. Every element is executed flawlessly, making it a truly exceptional and highly recommended stay.
